Arnaud Hug is an accomplished sound designer and composer with extensive expertise in post-production audio.

His career began at the age of 15, when he created his first music demo in the privacy of his bedroom. By a remarkable twist of fate, this early work came to the attention of the legendary Sir George Henry Martin, renowned for his production work with The Beatles. Sir George Martin personally reviewed the demo and provided invaluable artistic feedback, encouraging Arnaud to pursue his craft further, acknowledging his considerable talent.

With a solid foundation in sound engineering, Arnaud pursued his studies at ESRA in Nice, followed by the EMC Institute in Paris, where he completed an intensive four-year curriculum in audio engineering.

During his internship at Xilabs, he worked as a Junior Sound Designer, a pivotal experience that motivated him to further refine his skills. This led him to relocate to Montreal to undertake advanced studies at the ISTDS Institute.

Upon completing his education, Arnaud founded his own company, where he began composing music and designing sound for Canadian television and advertising.

After seven successful years as a freelancer, he joined MELS, a renowned production and post-production company in Canada. During his time at MELS, he collaborated with senior sound professionals on a variety of projects, including television series and documentaries for TVA and Québecor. Over the course of his tenure, Arnaud contributed to the audio post-production of nearly forty audiovisual projects.

Building on his extensive experience, Arnaud later served as a sound designer at Pixel Audio, working alongside a talented team on several high-profile projects. Notably, he has contributed to the sound design of six video games, further expanding his expertise in interactive audio.

Currently, Arnaud works with a diverse range of sound studios, publishers, and post-production agencies worldwide, focusing on key cities such as Montreal, London, Paris, and Los Angeles.

To date, Arnaud has contributed to over 50 audiovisual productions, encompassing films, television shows, video games, and commercials.
